JOB TITLE: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer within building services for one of the world's most successful support services and construction companies. This role requires Knowledge of NHS Estates and/or PFI. The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly across trades to carry out the required maintenance for the site.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
? Up to date training on relevant equipment/tools
? Excellent knowledge and technical abilities
? Excellent understanding of current Health & Safety legislation
? Previous experience with Fault diagnosis and resolution
? Experience in installing and maintaining mechanical and/or electrical equipment
? Able to read and understand technical drawings
? Good problem-solving skills
? Ability to use effectively any ICT equipment
? Able to complete work from clear instructions
? Must have the ability to prioritise your own workload
? Flexibility and adaptability to change
? Pro-active and positive approach to work.
? NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance (multi-discipline).
? Previous experience maintaining both mechanical and electrical equipment/tools
? A DBS check will be required for successful candidates following the interview/offer

? Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service
? Carry out modifications and installations
? Liaise with contractors or suppliers on a daily basis
? Ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard
? Ensure all equipment is up to standard at all times
? Ensures all KIP'S are met
? Take on authorised person duties as required.
? Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
? Ensures tools and equipment maintained to a high standard and records and reports
? Responsible for pressure systems and ventilation
? Provide technical support
? Constant improvement on all equipment efficiently and reducing cost
? Ensuring own work and work of others under supervision is completed to the Company standard
? Ensures regular feedback is given on all daily activities that are carried out
? Maintain equipment by problem solving and raising any issues to the supervisor
? Maintain, repair, and calibrate electrical, mechanical and instrumentation equipment to maintain reliability and maintainability
? Complete all paperwork and produce reports
? Additional training and development given in order to remain competent in role
? Complete other duties as and when required by the Supervisor or the Management Team
? Flexible approach to work hours to provide cover if required for holidays and sickness
? Provide on-call support for a minimum of 1 week per month
