We are currently looking for a Process Specialist to join a innovative Biotechnology company based in South Wales. As the Process Specialist you will be responsible for working alongside Production & Engineering to transfer new equipment, techniques and processes to production scale

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Process Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Provide technical input into validation activities for the Production team write, review, approve and execute studies as required.

2. You will be accountable for maintaining the standard of the quality system documents generated by the Production team. Key individual for batch record review, quality events and change controls, ensuring quality records and SOPs are accurate and actions closed within the allotted timeframe.

3. Input into the Regulatory strategy and author the relevant sections of Regulatory dossiers.

4. You will foster and encourage Continuous Improvement within the Production department. Lead process improvement initiatives and activities to influence change.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Process Specialist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Scientific discipline along with experience in a manufacturing, process, validation, regulatory or development environment (ideally within biopharmaceuticals).

2. Proven industry experience in a GMP environment will be highly advantageous.

3. A working knowledge or practical understanding with the regulatory and quality documentation associated with pharmaceutical manufacturing is essential.
