Information about the school
The school prides itself on providing an excellent, broad and balanced curriculum and ensuring high standards in the core subject areas of Reading, Writing and Maths. In our relentless drive for excellence, our aim is that all pupils should develop as excellent learners, have excellent social and emotional skills and fulfil their potential.
Housed in two single storey buildings, the school has two large and spacious halls and twenty-one classrooms. All of the classrooms open directly onto the grounds, which can be used for environmental studies and a wide range of sporting activities.
The PTA have played a central role in helping us to develop an outstanding education for our children. They have supported us on a number of projects including the resourcing of iPads, establishing our Forest School and our latest project of redeveloping the outside learning environment for Early Years.
Our children have positive attitudes to learning, high standards of behaviour and excellent attainment across the curriculum. The impressive range of extra-curricular activities are constantly changing and currently include cross country, korfball, hockey, drama, art, choir, orchestra, football, gymnastics, netball, athletics, tennis and homework club.
