Manager - Women's Safe-House
Unseen is a charity that works directly with survivors of trafficking and modern day slavery. We are recruiting an experienced manager for our women’s safe house.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced project manager, with a background in social care, to oversee the day-to-day running of the safe-house, supervise the staff team and ensure the wellbeing of clients in our service. We are looking for a confident and committed individual to take on this hugely rewarding role and bring energy, passion and ingenuity to develop the service and ensure the best possible outcomes for the women we support.
Experience of managing a team of staff in a relevant, or equivalent setting, is essential for this role. You should also have experience of working with individuals with complex needs and be effective in identifying and implementing service development. An understanding of the National Referral Mechanism and the rights and entitlements of trafficked persons is particularly desirable.
Full and on-going training, regular internal and external supervision, 33 days holiday and opt in pension scheme is provided. The successful candidate will receive a full induction and there is a 6-month probationary period for this post. Car owner essential.
The project is based in the Bristol area. This is a full-time, permanent post of 37.5 hours per week, with participation in the on-call rota.
