Are you a skilled IT support technician with experience of 1st and 2nd line support? Are you looking for a new opportunity and want to work at a fast-paced media company? We are looking for an IT Support Technician to provide multi-tiered support to internal customers at Future.

As IT Support Technician you'll develop methods and procedures for the deployment of Mac/Windows machines in a corporate environment, ensuring that software distribution, patch management and upgrades can be managed centrally.

You'll undertake complex problem solving and provide assistance to colleagues and internal customers ensuring that they are dealt with in a pleasant, professional and timely manner. You'll build, test and document customised software installations and scripts for Mac and Windows, ensuring consistency of settings and standards for critical publishing applications. You'll deploy software such as Adobe CS6 and CC, Antivirus software, and Microsoft Office. In addition, you'll advise on operational risks ensuring that they are clearly identified and that appropriate actions are taken, in particular issues relating to security, data backup, disaster recovery and virus control.

You'll have demonstrable experience and a practical background in problem solving with Mac and/or PC systems. Previous experience with Mac/PC management/deployment solutions including Lan-Rev, Kace, Deploy Studio, Munki are essential as well as having an in depth knowledge of Active Directory is essential. You'll have knowledge of a wide variety of software across Adobe, Microsoft Office, Google Apps, Extensis UTC and have a good understanding of software licensing. Previous experience with font licensing and font management is essential. You'll have expereince of remote diagnostics and troubleshooting skills and preferably experience with VMware and networking.

Alongside excellent customer service skills and good communication skills you'll have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as be a brilliant team player.
