Business Development Executive
We are recruiting for a Business Development Executive to join our team who influence the service that customers receive or, how staff interact with customers. Working closely with the Directors you will be supporting to deliver our ambitious growth plans in the market research industry.
About the role:
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, building and managing relationships with global clients to maximise revenue & nurture growing relationships.
Specifically, you’ll –
- Drive new business revenue – identifying & building new relationships with local and global clients
- Establish personal credibility, increasing awareness of our offer, and creating (not waiting for) new opportunities
- Provide prospects with engaging proposals/materials for meetings with timely follow ups and next actions set
- Track the competitive market place and have your ear to the ground so you know what is happening in our industry and share that knowledge
- Make us famous by contributing to our Communications Plan by acting as an ambassador
By working closely with the research teams, you’ll coach them to support their own business development activity by to enabling all colleagues build effective relationships with clients, set targets and ensure they are delivering to their plan.

You’ll have experience of being in a business development or client facing role and if you have experience in research and/or mystery shopping then that would be a bonus.
You’ll need to have a proven track record of winning new business and achieving targets so we are looking for someone who is motivated by delivering results, driven and is tenacious. We are looking to build long-term valued relationships with clients so you will need to be credible at a mid-senior level, be persuasive and organised. You should be happiest when taking responsibility for building client relationships. Ideally you'll have experience of the market research industry.
