An award winning construction company in the Reading outskirts is looking to recruit a Materials Coordinator / Project Administrator for a maternity cover contract.

Starting asap.

This client is growing rapidly and there may well be opportunity to join them on a permanent basis following completion of the maternity cover.

You will be working in a modern office, with a relaxed atmosphere and welcomed by a friendly team of c35 office staff.

Due to the client's industry, we are keen to hear from people with any of the following experience:

Plant Logistics
Materials Logistics
Construction Logistics
Materials / Construction Coordination
Project logistics/ coordination

Our client can have anywhere up to 30 construction projects running at any one time. Your role will be to support the Logistics Manager in ensuring that equipment and materials are at the correct sites at the correct times.

Materials, equipment, plant, tools, PPE will be required from 2 key sources: Partially via tool hire companies but in the main coordinating the movement of the company owned equipment.

Prioritisation, organisation and attention to detail are all key. As will be your communication skills, you will be liaising with Site Managers, Project Managers, Suppliers, Tool Hire companies and stakeholders and ensuring that you utilise the fleet (c40 vehicles) and project equipment in the most efficient way for the business.

Ideally you will have experience managing equipment/material movement by a variety of means, E.g

In house material management systems
Excel spreadsheets
Tool hire supplier processes
