Job Title: ERP Project Manager
Location: West Yorkshire
Rate: £300 p/day

A major Clinet of ours is currently looking for an ER Project Manager to join their team on an initial 3 months contract with the possibility to be extended.

Key responsibilities:

• Implementation and delivery of an ERP finance system in line with agreed business case, UK statutory and governmental requirements.
• To ensure successful delivery of the Finance ERP Project using appropriate PRINCE2 / Agile methodologies.
• Management of 3rd party supplier relationship throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with finance stakeholders ensuring subject matter experts are fully engaged
• Development / maintenance of finance system project plan
• Manage project risks/issues log in a proactive manner and escalation to the Programme Manager as required
• Detailed management of project budget in line with agreed stage payments. Management of assigned resources
• Manage conflicts, ensuring everyone involved is working together effectively
• Work effectively with the Head of Finance Business System Change Programme to assist with the identification and management of the behavioural and organisational changes relating to the transformational business change
• Manage project gaps / design issues and identify appropriate solutions and options for resolution ensuring they are deployed to time, cost and quality
• Engage with all stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of project status in line with agreed stakeholder strategy.
• Ensure SRO and Project Board is appraised in timely and efficient manner, with a ‘no surprises’ approach

You will be able to demonstrate:

• Ideally a part qualified Accountant and working towards full qualification
• Proven track record of successful delivery of Finance ERP systems to time, cost and quality throughout the full project life cycle
• Up to date knowledge of UK statutory requirements; and finance processes such as P2P, R2R and O2C
• Experienced or accredited Prince 2/Agile practitioner
• Thorough understanding of business process re-engineering principles and techniques
• Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels and ability to manage stakeholder expectations
• Proven decision making ability and prioritisation skills to balance conflicting demands across the project
• Displays proper use of judgment and issue resolution to ensure issues and conflicts are properly handled
• Strong collaboration skills working across team, colleagues at all levels within the BL and external providers to reach appropriate solutions identifying issues and problems and resolving them regardless of hierarchy.
• Experience of managing cross functional teams within a project environment
• Experience of managing projects using a proven methodology e.g. Waterfall or Agile
• Experience of managing external supplier delivery teams
• Experience of managing large project budgets (minimum £1.0M)
• Thorough understanding of risk management and its implications
• Displays a probing approach whilst encouraging full and open exchange of ideas and options in search of solutions.
• Drive and resilience to overcome barriers and deliver results
