KS3 - KS4 Humanities with PSHCEE Lead - September 2018
A 'Good' rated and mixed Secondary School in the borough of Brent is looking to recruit a KS3-KS4 Humanities Teacher with PSHCEE Lead. This teaching appointment is to commence in September 2018 and is a full time/permanent position.
This secondary school in Brent has achieved an Ofsted rating of 'Good' and is looking to continue building on their success by recruiting a Good to Outstanding Humanities Teacher / Teacher of Humanities with PSHCEE Lead.
The Humanities department is a consistently growing one, especially due to the construction of a new secondary school with the current years being Year 9 and Year 10. The quality of the leadership is seen as being excellent, the school's work to promote pupils' personal development, behaviour and welfare is strong and student's behaviour is seen as excellent. In turn the secondary School also provides an inclusive teaching community and a consistent professional development for all their teaching staff, from NQT's to experienced teachers
The school is currently looking for a good to outstanding Humanities Teacher / Teacher of Humanities with PSHCEE Lead who challenges and motivates students to achieve their maximum potential across both KS3 and KS4. This Humanities Teacher / Teacher of Humanities with PSHCEE Lead is expected to be innovative and you must be able to achieve excellent results for children.
What the school is looking for...
- Must be able to teach KS3 and KS4 Humanities
- Must have an ability to employ a range of effective teaching and learning styles.
- Must have relevant degree and has obtained Qualified Teacher Status
- Able to demonstrate a 'Good' to 'Outstanding' lesson
- Available in September 2018 for a Teacher of Humanities with PSHCEE Lead post
