Cherry Professional are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Assistant to join a highly successful National Organisation. This role is being offered on a 3 month fixed term contract basis with the view to it becoming pemanent thereafter.


Maintain company database standards
Create database documentation including data reports, procedures and data definitions
Manage parameters to provide fast query responses to front end users
Check that database tables (supplier pricing, retail pricing etc) are correct and up to date
Provide relevant internal customer feedback
Manager part of the Supply Chain Process
Create and process purchase orders
Source non-mainstream products and secure best negotiated pricing
Liaise with internal customers providing purchase information
Complete stock adjustments as required
Assist with company stock checks

Ideal Person

Previous procurement / purchasing experience
Excellent administration and IT skills
Ability to work well under pressure and work to set timescales
Previous experience working within customer service is also a must, with excellent communication skills.
