Our client a Facilities Management service provider, are looking to recruit an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to work at The Marlowes Shopping Centre

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking breakdowns, repairs, maintenance and support to the site team. Meeting agreed standards of performance and complies with Company policies and procedures.

1 Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices, to ensure the team are fully compliant and follow industry best practices.

2 Identify any defects and carry out remedial works.

3 Tasks will include electrical maintenance, mechanical maintenance, plumbing, repairs and modifications, carpentry, painting and other building maintenance tasks.

4 To undertake special projects identified onsite management.

5 To ensure all electrical installations within centre comply fully with IEE Regulations, 17th Edition and assist in keeping records.

6 Maintain the professional image of CBRE Managed Services at all times.

7 Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all CBRE Managed Services employees and clients’ representatives.

8 Ensure the provision of a Safe & Healthy working environment.

9 Complete work reports for client approval and send copy to parent contract.

10 Manage and support the engineer team on site.

11 Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems.

12 Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices.

13 Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately managed, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes.

14 Promoting and maintaining the core Values of CBRE & the client.

15 To take full ownership of logbook system and update as required

16 To manage the on-site Concept systems and ensure all PPM and reactive tasks are completed within SLA.


1 A Health and Safety management system operates on site. It is mandatory that all
staff comply with all health and safety instructions.
2 The maintenance technician is required to work 40 hours per week, 5 days in any 7 day week (this includes weekends) as per a roster.
3 The maintenance technician is to wear the issued uniform.
