Role 1 - Senior Project Manager - £50-60k plus excellent benefits

Summary: You will manage a portfolio of projects and improve their efficiency and effectiveness through project management process and tool improvements

You will manage projects to deploy my clients system within the UK in accordance with the contract and budgets to satisfy the customer and business requirements.

Skills required:

*5 years experience as project manager
*Experienced in MS Project and Prince 2.
*Leadership skills to manage project mangers and a portfolio of projects
*Ability and willingness to take initiative toward project completion
*Ability to prioritise and work on multiple projects
*Ability to create and deliver executive-level summary reports and presentations

Tasks you will undertake:

To work with and follow the guidance of the Programme Manager.

To monitor and manage project portfolio

To maintain and improve project management process and tools to achieve target improvements

To be responsible for all the project management activities in accordance with the company project management procedure (Prince 2 based):

Project planning, scheduling, monitoring and control of all aspects of the project.

Maintain all project documents

Provide weekly status reports identifying, accomplishments, risks, issues, milestones against the baseline plan together with forecasts.

Hold and attend regular internal and customer led project meetings.

Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

To motivate all members involved in the project to ensure it is completed on time, to the specified cost, quality and performance criteria.

Coordinating delivery of software developments as necessary.

Arranging delivery of projects in accordance with the contractual requirements.

Ensuring contract acceptance and sign off by the customer.

Accepting hand over from the sales team to commence project initiation.

Delivering project hand over to the support team.

To coordinate activities between my client and third parties as required within the scope of the project.

To facilitate quality activities of the project and delivery team.

To progress personal development and encourage the development of other staff members.

To contribute to the team spirit within the company and to actively promote a customer-oriented approach.

Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Participate in cross-functional projects.

This position is both based at my client in Surrey and is easily commutable from:
Guildford, Basingstoke, Bracknell, Reading, Staines, Woking, Slough, Weybridge, Kingston, Twickenham
