Senior Service Manager (Banking) - VP

The Wealth Management arm of a Top Tier Global Bank is looking to hire a Senior Service and Relationship Manager to help establish and run a service management capability for theUK. The scope of the role and function includes Infrastructure and Application Services for the Wealth Management Business, ensuringSLA's, OLA's, Service Improvement Plans and Projects are delivered and maintained.

The Service Manager will face off to the business to identify and establish needs and processes to ensure BAU of technology services, while also communicating the value and cost of IT services. The Service Manager will also face off to technology teams (app dev, technical delivery and infrastructure teams) to ensure the appropriate delivery of these services, communicating the needs of the business and monitoring processes and deliverables. Therefore, this individual must have excellent Relationship and Stakeholder management skills and be highly influential and client facing.

Ideal skill set/experience:

  • Good knowledge of Enterprise Infrastructure technologies and the bigger picture, inc networking, windows, unix and databases
  • Strong Service Management/Delivery experience within an enterprise financial environment (ITIL)
  • Project Delivery - leveraging off technology teams to deliver services to business
  • Experience establishing and maintainingSLA's, OLA's, Service Improvement Plans
  • Relationship/Stakeholder Management
