About the Role
A one-form entry Primary School in North Barnet are looking for a successful and engaging teaching assistant to support a child in Year 1 who has been diagnosed with Global Delay. The right candidate for this role will have a calm and nurturing nature and be caring and understanding towards the child's needs. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the child is happy and safe during their time in school whilst still learning and achieving in lessons. The child works extremely hard in lessons and can be an independent learner but often needs support accessing certain areas of the curriculum.

Requirements for the Role:
The school require a Teaching Assistant who has previous experience supporting pupils who have been diagnosed with Global Delay. Candidates who excellent English skills will be favoured as this where the child requires the most support. You must have at least 6 months' experience working in an educational setting.

Rate of Pay and Working hours:
£70-£80 per day, working hours of 08:30am - 4:00pm

You must have recent and a minimum of six months experience working in primary schools. This experience must be relative to this role. If you do not have this experience we unfortunately will not be able to continue with your application
