Babcock International Group is currently looking to appoint anData Analyst whom will liaise with both management and operational teams in order to bring clarity and standardised reporting across the business unit.tounderstand the operational metrics of the apprentices on our programme and ensure all billing and data is in line with requirements for all brands.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a ‘can do’ attitude, 2 – 3 years’ experience and good Microsoft Excel skills. Candidates with experience of working within an apprenticeship environment and/or on Maytas software will be highly desirable.
·Track apprentices on programme in relation to funding draw down
·Ensure all dealers are billed ion a timely manor
·Provide data (as appropriate) to support the operational teams
·Liaise with and support of Operational Management teams to provide exception and compliance reporting
·Develop dashboards to support operational teams in managing compliance
·Timely and accurate preparation of data to support apprentice KPI and data key Metrix
·Produce KPI data for distribution
·Ensure billing is timely and accurate
·Assisting in the development of financial processes
·To work with other members of Skills and Learning finance team to drive forward continuous improvement
·Performing other ad-hoc tasks
·Good financial reporting and costs analysis
·Good data management and manipulation skills
·Able to work to tight deadlines
·Able to interpret and explain operational and financial data
·Numerically literate and able to understand and manipulate detailed financial and data spreadsheets
·Excellent written and verbal communications skills
·High level of computer literacy
·Good Microsoft Excel skills
·Experience of Maytas would be advantageous
·Willing to undertake travel to other UK sites as required
·Understanding of SFA funding rules would be advantageous

£25,000 - £30,000 + £1,000 uplift after successfully completing 3 month probationary period.
