Accounts Payable Administrator Permanent Job Coventry

Your new company
A global manufacturing business who have experienced significant growth and are looking to invest into an established finance function based in Coventry for an Accounts Payable Administrator.

Your new role
To support the AP/Transactions Supervisor with the set up and running of transactions requirements, focus being with AP support.
Main areas of responsibility and support:
1. Data entry/ keying into accounts payable system
2. Resolution of matching errors of vendor invoice, purchase order and receipt acknowledgment
3. Automatic payment processing and entry of manual requests for payment
4. Processing of vendor debit/ credit memos
5. Compliance with internal controls
6. Research and reconciliation of suppliers statements including review of GRNI/SRNI
7. Record retention, tracking and reporting for tax and VAT purposes
8. Support management reporting specific to accounts payable
9. Audit support specific to accounts payable

What you'll need to succeed
Minimum of 3 GSCE's A - C including maths and English or equivalent
Previous experience in AP department
· Functional knowledge of AP process
· Proven experience processing high volumes of transactions
. SAP or Oracle experience - desirable
. Data entry skills
· Good communicator, interpersonal skills
· Accuracy
· Attention to detail
· Analytical
· PC Skills - Excel, Word
