coverage across the Country, although the majority of our projects are in East Anglia and the South East. This role will give you exposure to a wide range of clients and all aspects of Transport planning.

As a Senior Transport Planner/Traffic Engineer you will be responsible for day to day project management and organisation of tasks to ensure that work is completed in a timely manner for projects. You will take a lead with more
junior staff in delivering solutions under the guidance of senior staff in the Company.

As a Senior transport planner you will be expected to have commensurate qualifications, a degree in civil engineering/transport planning, or similar subject, with Masters in transport planning.

Alternatively, you may have a HND/HNC background with good experience and either achieved or be contemplating a Masters in transport planning. CCE will support career progression through memberships of appropriate professional bodies, CPD and further education if it is of interest.

As a transport planner, you will have working knowledge of the development planning process including the role of planning applications and understanding of Local Plans. Your main focus will be in preparing Transport Assessments/Travel Plans, use of normal software in junction design and capacity assessment (LINSIG, ARCADY, PICADY, TRANSYT), use of the TRICS/TRAVL database's, a knowledge of survey methods and analysis, a knowledge of junction design, road safety and use of AutoCAD would all be necessary in this role.

Experience working for private sector developer clients is an advantage, although those with a public sector background will also be considered.
