Senior Structural CAD Technician

The medium sized practice provides service throughout England and Wales in a variety of projects. They take a large role in the entire process from bid to completion through their management system - each project has an appointed Director and Project leader.
Be a part of a well-rounded and experienced team or like-minded engineers and technicians whilst working together on key London projects to expand your knowledge and portfolio. Excellent training and CPD channels in place.
They seek a highly skilled Senior CAD technician to assist with specific rail structure projects and other related projects. Their portfolio includes minor works projects through to the design and assessment of larger structures. This role is at the forefront of the rail team and you will be involved in a number of different projects at any given team.
The ideal candidate should have a good range of experience in drafting with the various structural materials and have a proven track record to develop both structural and rail scheme drawings. You should have excellent skills in the use of Microstation and should have some experience in AutoCAD drawings.
As a Senior CAD Technician you should be confident enough to suggest potential alternatives to the engineer and be able to advice on drawing, planning and programming. You should hit the ground running at this well established consultancy and be able to work well with engineers to have the best possible results.
