Maintenance Engineer / Handy Person - Luxury Hotel - Central London - Up To £12.00 Per Hour or £22,000

Fantastic opportunity to join an in house luxury 5 star hotel situated in central London. Our client requires X2 Maintenance Engineers / Handy persons to work alongside the existing maintenance team.

The successful candidate will have an all round understanding of most trades including; basic electrical, plumbing, painting & decorating, tiling, carpentry etc. Working with the maintenance team on site your duties will include carrying out basic maintenance tasks around the hotel & apartments, assisting M&E engineers, responding to emergencies, project work. He or she will have good communications skills as you will be in regular contact with both the hotel staff and guests. This will be on a temporary week to week basis with the possibility of been offered full time employment, however this is not guaranteed

Hours of work

5 / 7 days a week (Could include weekends) Shift times include; 09:00am to 17:00pm & 12:00pm to 21:00pm

Requirements

An all round knowledge of most trades is essential (i.e. basic electrical, plumbing, painting & decorating, tiling, carpentry etc)

A proven track record ideally within the Hotel / luxury property environment

Excellent customer service / communication skills
