Malpractice Investigations and Appeals Manager - Temporary Contract
We are looking for a customer focused manager who is available to join our Performance Standards team from 1st March through to 31st August 2017 to assist us during our peaks in workload.
The role will involve managing a number of cases relating to allegations of malpractice or other examination irregularities reported to or discovered by AQA.
You will be responsible for determining fair outcomes with appropriate sanctions or providing complete case materials to our irregularities and appeals committee.
There will be occasionally requirements to travel and visit schools to participate in investigations on school premises. Some cases are delegated to schools and other investigated directly by AQA.
We are looking for someone who can effectively evaluate criteria and decide when to delegate investigations and when to recommend to AQA to undertake the investigation. The ideal candidate will have some experience of working in a legal environment with some exposure to dealing with cases of malpractice. You will be an excellent record keeper familiar with following processes and procedures to ensure compliance. You will also be a strong negotiator, with the credibility and confidence to make and stand-by robust decisions that will withstand scrutiny.
