Job Description

My client is a Digital Marketing agency based in London that operates across all online marketing disciplines. We are looking for a confident and driven Business Development Manager. This role will be ideal for someone with telemarketing or inside sales experience looking to take the next step in their sales journey. The successful candidate will work closely with the Commercial Director and Marketing Director.

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for the acquisition of new clients and the retention and growth of existing clients. You must be a creative thinker with a good understanding of marketing and excellent communications skills both verbal and written. You must be sociable and able to build rapport quickly and easily. The successful candidate will be results orientated, relish new challenges and enjoy learning new technologies.

The position provides:

Primary Responsibilities:

- Identifying new sales leads and achieve new business quarterly sales targets
- Present products and services and promote the brand to relevant audience
- Maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to increase customer value
- Identify new partner opportunities and achieve partner revenue targets
- Promote referral program and achieve referral program targets

Key Duties and responsibilities:

- Develop and execute monthly sales campaigns and plans
- Identify, evaluate and prioritise new business opportunities and partner relationships
- Build database of contacts
- Effectively capture and communicate customer requirements internally
- Achieve monthly face to face meeting targets
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Achieve existing accounts annual up-sell and renewal revenue targets
- Provide management with accurate and timely on actions that could affect the business
- Provide timely and accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts
- Provide market sizing and opportunity analysis on relevant platforms such as LinkedIn
- Complete annual performance metrics and objectives
- Must comply with company CRM policy in a timely and accurate fashion
- Maintain a professional image and positive attitude

Qualifications & Skills:

- English or Marketing degree preferred
- Must have some knowledge of digital marketing
- At least 1 year's successful experience in telemarketing or inside sales
- Strong relationship builder with persuasive skills
- Ability to interface with various levels of staff and management
- Excellent communication skills
- Person must be comfortable working independently
- Must have proficient skills in Microsoft Office programs and Webex (or similar product)
