Job; Web & Content Manager - Bury St Edmunds

Reporting to this company's Digital Manager this job is ideal for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, meticulous digital marketer who has a passion for creating meaningful customer experiences as part of an energetic team.

You will be primarily responsible for a multi-million-pound website where you will be developing, managing and maintaining its content and customer experience.

You will have a strong background in digital marketing, analytical mind and have experience of contributing to website content strategies, planning objectives and testing criteria, i.e. monitoring, measuring and reporting on performance as well as proposing and implementing improvements to increase ROI.

Experience in using CMS's is essential (Sitecore preferable).

Analysis of leaflet distribution as well as rate negotiation will form part of the role as part of the businesses national and local leaflet campaigns.

Main Duties/ responsibilities;

- Develop a content strategy utilising Sitecore CMS,
- Continually audit and maintain content in line with both seasonal and campaign-based activity,
- Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points,
- Set objectives, KPIs and improve engagement metrics alongside improving conversion rates,
- Create captivating content that attracts, delights and converts users into customers,
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimise user experience, e.g. for emails/social campaigns,
- Measure and report on performance of content,
- Create and execute A/B and multi-variable content tests,
- Write reports and share results to develop knowledge of content optimisation within their team,
- Attend meetings to plan and develop site content, style and appearance,
- Manage digital display and retargeting campaigns,
- Analyse and report on leaflet performance both nationally and locally,
- Review and negotiate leaflet buys with publishers,

Role competencies - essential;

- Highly competent user of CMS systems (Sitecore experience highly beneficial),
- Excellent understanding of UX and creating compelling customer journeys,
- Capable of efficiently and effectively analysing performance data via tools such as Google Analytics and CMS Analytics such as Sitecore Experience Analytics,
- Proven background with digital marketing campaigns, including Google AdWords, display and retargeting marketing,
- Good background in offline and online marketing communications and strategies,
- Experience in marketing within B2C markets preferably leisure and tourism,
- Brand and commercial awareness,
- Excellent planning and reporting skills,
- Creative, analytical and passionate about CMS,
- Strong negotiation skills,
- Good understanding of customer profile, product and competitors,

Role competencies - desirable/nice-to-have;

- Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager,
- Marketing Degree or equivalent,
- Knowledge of Mac OS (as well as Windows),
