Job; CRM Marketing Executive - Bury St Edmunds

Reporting to this company's Marketing Manager this is a perfect role for a self-motivated, passionate CRM marketer who is keen to become their go-to CRM person in a fun and energetic team that is constantly growing and offers a lot of opportunities!

Working within their marketing team in a CRM marketing position you will take charge of customer data segmentation and email marketing campaigns. In addition to CRM and email campaigns you will also be involved in marketing of their brands playing a key role in local and national campaigns helping to drive customers to sites across the UK.

You will have a strong background within CRM, email, analytics and web management as well an ability to turn data into actionable and effective marketing.

The role;

- This is a challenging and busy role. You should have at least 2- 3 years' experience in using CRM systems and possess excellent time management skills, a self-motivated approach and be able to prioritise workload. You will need to demonstrate flexibility, an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure to fixed deadlines.
- You will have an analytical brain with key qualities include an eye and instinct for segmenting data, working knowledge of a CRM, and meticulous attention to detail coupled with a passion to get better results. You will also be adept in using various CMS platforms and comfortable using various analytical platforms.
- You will be accomplished at email delivery, analysis and optimisation, including planning, list segmentation, and conversion reporting. You will be capable of preparing and implementing a year-round CRM plan that looks to maximise opportunities with existing and potential customers.
- In addition to your CRM knowledge it would be a great benefit to have experience within a B2C environment. You will be analytical and creative with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Main tasks and responsibilities;

- Develop and execute CRM strategies.
- Become their go-to person for direct marketing CRM. Champion and monitor best practice techniques for all direct marketing CRM activities.
- Increase customer acquisition and retention volumes and value through effective development of CRM techniques.
- Segment customer data to determine target audiences for direct marketing campaigns.
- Create compelling targeted email marketing campaigns.
- Manage email schedule delivery.
- Realise data potential and segmentation opportunities.
- Take lead of conceptualising and managing a range of CRM campaigns and initiatives. This includes idea generation and exploration, presenting proposals and overseeing creative and production processes for successful implementation of campaigns.
- Analyse campaign outcomes in detail to draw insight and present findings to make improvements on future campaigns.
- Report results of campaigns.
- Deliver and implement marketing and communication plans to focus on acquisition, retention and engagement.
- Create timely, actionable and relevant analysis to further develop their CRM strategy.
- Assist across their marketing team with any other ad-hoc marketing tasks.

Skills, competencies and experience;

- Highly competent CRM marketer with at least 2-3 years' experience in using CRM systems.
- High level of competency across various CMS platforms.
- Excellent understanding of direct marketing with experience in devising and implementing email campaigns.
- Good background in offline and online marketing communications and strategies.
- Experience in marketing within B2C markets preferably leisure and tourism.
- Excellent copyrighting skills.
- Good understanding of customer profile, product and competitors.
- Brand and commercial awareness.
- Excellent planning and reporting skills.
- Creative, analytical and passionate about CRM.
