Assistant Travel Branch Manager – Luxury Tour Operator

£23,000 + Bonuses

My client who is the UK’s leading luxury tour operator is seeking an Assistant Travel Branch Manager for their chic luxury boutique travel store based in Saint Albans City Centre

My client has won numerous awards over the years such as Best Long Haul Tour Operator through the Travel Weekly and TTG and is recognized as on the UK’s leading luxury travel brands.

Assistant Travel Branch Manager role and responsibilities

To effectively run the store in the managers absence

To actively champion, promote and remain a strong ambassador of the company brand and values

Assist in the day to day running of the store including operations and administration.

Assist the Store Manager with the development of fully trained, informative, highly motivated Travel Experts.

Provide the best and most comprehensive service possible to all our clients within a retail environment.

Answer telephone calls; handle all e-mails, faxes, written and personal enquiries from clients.

Working as an effective team member, assisting their face-to-face clients and taking overflow calls from other sales teams as required.

Maximising sales by selling all products, including specialists

Provide constructive feedback about our product range to your line manager

Assistant Travel Branch Manager experience required

Experience of managing a retail travel store, with profit and staff responsibility.

Strong track record of delivering sales results and exceptional service

A genuine passion for travel especially long haul destinations Excellent working knowledge of at least one travel agent or tour operators reservations system

Can demonstrate achievements in meeting tough sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service at the same time

Understands the importance of the sales and customer service function as a crucial medium for conveying a company's brand vision and values

Proven ability to motivate, enthuse and lead a team; thrives during periods of pressure and high volume of work and able to create an upbeat, motivating sales environment.

Competitive Base salary based on experience to £23,000
