Senior Business Partner, Group Reporting & Forecasting


An exciting opportunity to work for a fast-growing, innovative speciality finance company, this is a role ideally suited to a candidate looking to work and develop in a dynamic, 'hands-on', environment with involvement in many different areas of Group reporting, financial planning and analysis. It also provides the opportunity to engage with multiple stakeholders across Finance and the business, including executive management

  • Preparing Group level management reports and projections
  • Provide meaningful insight, analysis and challenge on business performance and initiatives to Commercial Managers and Senior Finance managers
  • Co-ordinate and support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes

Performance Reporting:

  • Co-ordinate and manage the preparation of monthly performance reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, Executive Committee and Board
  • Prepare insightful and clear commentary to ensure the key messages are clearly articulated to senior management and the Board
  • Analyse, review and challenge the monthly numbers
  • Prepare supporting analysis for other Governance committees

Strategic planning:

  • Co-ordinate and prepare 5 year strategic forecasts including:


  • Consideration of both divisional and Group financials and KPIs
  • Analysis of Balance sheet, capital structure and cash flow over the planning horizon
  • Preparation of review papers for the Executive Committee and Board

Other forecasting:

  • Co-ordinate the preparation of rolling monthly forecasts
  • Analyse, review and challenge the forecast inputs from Commercial and Finance teams

Group analysis:

  • Prepare and analyse ad-hoc group and segmental analysis requested from the Executive Committee and other stakeholders

Profile

  • At least a 2.1 degree
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present information in a clear and concise fashion
  • Some experience in a group reporting or financial analyst role
    • Strong Microsoft office skills, particularly excel
    • Experience preferably within financial services
    • Familiarity with IFRS is preferred
  • An accounting qualification is preferred
