Our client is a leading highly successful service sector business. We are currently recruiting a Project Manager to be responsible for client facing project management, for a number of clients, within their client services team.
You will need to have a proven track record detailed on your CV, illustrating your project management skills, managing risk, and where as a project manager you have successfully and profitably delivered to clients on projects.
The Project Manager has overall responsibility for the success and profitability of development work performed by the Team. You will also have detailed on your CV examples of where you have managed clients, performed backlog grooming, estimated and planned as well as delivered to clients.
You will have experience of running the full life cycle of a project including profit and loss, budget management, forecasting, speaking to clients, ensuring client satisfaction, managing risk, managing clients and overall project delivery.
-Client Management to ensure new work is prioritised and client satisfied
Estimation and Planning
-Ensure work is estimated and costs and delivery estimates are communicated to clients.
-Once Client authorisation has been obtained, work must be included in the team backlog and firm delivery dates communicated to the Client.
-Perform backlog grooming with team SAP and BA.
-Ensure work is delivered on time, within budget and to the customer’s expectations.
-Monitor and control project activities
-Take ownership for resolving issues and escalations
-Ensure project stakeholders are kept informed and there are no surprises
Perform effective Project Governance to ensure no surprises:
-Engagements have documented and agreed baseline (scope, timeline, budget) which we track and report against
-Ensure formal Client acceptance to start work and acceptance signoff for completed deliverables
-Use formal Change Management to authorise changes to the project baseline
-Complete weekly status reporting
-Manage project risks effectively
-Ensure engagements delivered against commitments made to clients
-Use Client feedback to improve Client satisfaction
-Own the Profit and Loss for the Team.
-Track actuals against budget and take corrective action when required
-Use change management process to ensure changes to scope are charged correctly
-Work with Finance to ensure Clients are invoiced correctly
-Perform forecasting to ensure visibility of small change work.
Exposure to Agile will be beneficial as PSL uses Agile techniques.
