Come and work at the exciting KIA Oval venue in Kennington London, developing and managing the delivery of efficient and effective event staff recruitment, administration and coordination for some major and historic events coming up over the next 6 months. You will ensure the company’s business objectives and contract targets are achieved or exceeded, and that the venue enhances its reputation at the forefront of international stadia.

The main responsibilities of this position are to:

·Ensure the highest calibre of appropriate staff are in place and scheduled efficiently to maintain services and standards all season round

·Ensure staff are inducted and trained appropriately in their area of responsibility

·Ensure safe systems of work and that training record registers are completed

·Coach and motivate team members and ensure they are well presented and enthusiastic

·Ensure uniform, staff meals and accommodation are provided as necessary and that the company reputation is upheld by all staff at all times

·Ensure reports, data entry, timesheets and payroll functions are completed accurately and to schedule

·Ensure all operational practices are undertaken with due diligence and adherence to company and health and safety policy and procedures

·Ensure the client and company’s assets are sustained, maintained and protected

·Ensure a synergy between IT and operational processes is maintained

·Ensure clients are provided with service support functions effectively and efficiently

An analytical, problem solver with a flexible approach to working hours, you will be calm under pressure and be highly organised. You will also have:

·Proven experience of staff recruitment and administration

·Proven experience in the events industry, preferably in a service related field

·Strong administration and project management skills

·Good financial management skills

·An understanding of health and safety legislation (HASAW)

·Sound knowledge of Windows based applications and good IT skills

·A demonstrable ability to deliver quality customer service and ensure issues are effectively and efficiently resolved in a clam and innovative manner

This is a 6 month fixed term contract, but it is a chance to work at an iconic venue whilst developing yourself and others. Who knows where this might lead you to in the future.
