Must have experience working in manufacturing environments of metal fabrication. Only applicants with this experience shall be considered.

As a Sales Manager you will responsible for managing and increasing sales on a number of key accounts. The successful Sales Manager will lead all aspects of the process from order intake and production, to delivery and invoicing, acting as the key interface for all enquiries. You will work alongside sales executives/account managers and provide technical support as and when required.

•Liaise with all levels, from on-site engineers through to company directors.

•Manage the ordering process from quotation through to invoice stage

•Assist with the quality control of outbound product ensuring that products are as per the customers order in terms of quality, specification and quantity.

•Agreeing and adhering to customer delivery dates through planning and prioritisation and managing customer expectation through to delivery.

•Collaborating with internal departments to ensure customer deadlines are met whilst understanding the constraints of the overall production schedule.

•Liaising with the transportation department to organise appropriate transportation to affectively transport components at minimal cost to the customer.

•Deal with and offer swift solutions to any customer issues, including developing issues due to changes to a particular project.

•Manage the supply of multiple projects ensuring that production is on track to meet the required deadlines.

•Form strong internal relationships and manage internal stakeholders to ensure that each project is achievable and runs smoothly.

•After Sales and Customer Support – Provide additional products at short notice and prioritise their production within the overall production schedule.

•Maintain accurate records of order intake, pricing, production and invoicing both electronically and through filling administration.

•Produce accurate production sheets, and goods labels to be used on the shop floor

•Keep up to date with customer pricing and ensure orders reflect agreed pricing

•Work with the Quality Department to ensure the final product is manufactured to the highest required standard

•Maintain H&S standards

Experience and qualities must haves

•The ability to, and previous experience of, reading technical drawings.

•Technical knowledge of the manufacturing process and an understanding of machinery capabilities.

•Previous experience within architectural fabrication or manufacturing and/or steel.

•Knowledge of the roofing industry would be beneficial.

•Proven Account Management skills.

•The ability to cultivate and retain customers.

•Knowledge of facades, cladding, building boards, curtain walling and/or building envelope.

•Experience of estimating.

•Verifiable market contacts.

•Product knowledge is required.

•Demonstrable commercial acumen.

•Stable job history.
