Windows, Active Directory, Exchange, VMware, Technical Consultant, Azure

My IT consultancy client is Looking for a Technical Consultant / Systems Engineer, someone with a proven background in an external client facing, project focused role - not candidates with just support / helpdesk experience, although you may do a bit of 3rd line support.

This role will take ownership of client projects - so initial client facing Pre Sales, Solution Design, Project Delivery / Implementation & some support.

Increasingly my client is being asked by its clientele about Azure - so some migration to Azure projects/experience will be highly sought after.

Given the scope of the role it is essential that you have strong soft skills & documentation skills as the role will involve client meetings / presentations / whiteboard session / completing documentation for clients, etc.

Skills required for the Technical Consultant role:

Microsoft Infrastructure (Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange (2010, 2013, 2016), Office 365, ADFS, Virtualisation (VMware - vSphere or Hyper-V or both, Storage (Dell Compellent or EqualLogic, or Nimble) and basic Cisco Networking would be a bonus.

Please note you don't need ALL of those skills for the Technical Consultant role but a good core set of IT infrastructure skills (Windows, Active Directory, Exchange) plus virtualisation & storage exposure.

Accreditations sought by my client for the Technical Consultant role are as follows, (again you don't need ALL but a combination of the following will be useful to have: MCSE or MCITP or VCP or CCNP).
