Reed Accountancy are currently working with a large organisation in Ipswich, to recruit for an experienced Purchase Ledger clerk, to join a friendly, busy and professional team.
The purpose of the role is to assist the AP Team with daily and monthly processes.

Specific Responsibilities

The scope of this role includes, but is not exclusive to, the following:

• Daily processing of invoices across all three Sites (PO and non-PO, Domestic and Foreign).
• Completion of monthly Statement Reconciliations.
• Dealing with invoice queries such as price discrepancies and items not booked in.
• Assisting in other AP processes such as supplier queries, GRNI clear-downs and general administrative tasks.

Qualifications, experience and training

• Experience of working in an accounts payable department.
• Experience of processing high volumes of invoices.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• The ability to learn new tasks quickly.
• The ability to work to monthly deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organization skills.

Based at Ransomes Europark, Full time and part time role available. Part time role will be x5 days a week, flexible with hours worked. The full time role will be 08:30-5:00pm Monday - Friday.
