This prestigious Contract Catering Company is currently looking to recruit an Executive Chef to develop the pastry operation at one of its prestigious sites. Only the finest ingredients are used to produce all aspects of patisserie from viennoiserie to petit fours. In this site, there is a fine dining restaurant for 100 covers, staff dining for 350 covers, events for 200 covers as well as directors’ private dining as required. You will also be responsible for the recruitment and development of the pastry team.
You must have at least 2 years’ experience as Head Pastry Chef within 5 Star Hotels/fine dining restaurants as attention to detail for this position is a must and you must be used to working under pressure. You must also have a friendly and approachable personality as there will be lots of client facing involved in this role. An excellent salary of £45,000 per annum is available for the right Head Pastry Chef
