Recoveries Advisor - Temp and Perm
Salary: £24,000 per annum perm or £9.85 p/h 1 month temp contract until Feb 17.
Location: Redhill
Permanent and Temporary positions avaliable

Lloyd Recruitment Services are seeking a Recovery Advisors to ensure the maximum return of outstanding passed from the mainstream collections process, to recover assets when required and manage the process, to ensure Consumer Credit Regulations are followed without exception and ROG’s requested when necessary.

Main duties include:

  • Instruct via RMS and liaise with Repossession Agents
  • To manager the reconnection process via Customer Accounts instruction
  • Effectively administer the Voluntary Termination (VT)
  • To pass over all court order reinstatements to the Customer Accounts for management upon receipt
  • To investigate any discrepancies found on any of the accounts
  • Assist the Recovery Supervisor in related matters as and when required including generation of reports and statistical analysis
  • Management of accounts through the pre and litigation process, ensuring collection of all arrears and any short-fall
  • Liaise with external Recovery Agents/Solicitors on outsourced Accounts maintaining a constant awareness of issues and reporting these to the Recoveries Manager
  • Investigate any customer disputes or issues which have resulted in disputed invoices or withheld payments
  • Ensure accurate data is submitted to customers/external agents/solicitors/courts
  • Process Court Order Requests and ensure subsequent follow up of cases
  • Ensure all customer administration is dealt with efficiently and within company quality guidelines
  • Respond to queries are dealt with in a timely manner and ensure issues are resolved effectively and sensitively
  • Ensure all records are accurately updated on the appropriate systems in a timely fashion
  • Assist in the production and maintenance of procedure Manuals
  • Assist the Recoveries Supervisor in related matters as and when required including generation of reports and statistical analysis


The ideal candidate:

  • Knowledge of court litigation process is desirable
  • Knowledge and understanding of the debt collection process is an advantage
  • Up-to-date knowledge of CONC7 and Principle 6 TCF an advantage
  • Basic computer literacy - proficient in Word, Excel and keyboard skills
  • Maths and English GCSES/O Levels
