Court of Protection Solicitor

An ideal opportunity for an experienced Court of Protection solicitor, with a focus on health and welfare, to join a highly regarded and long established Birmingham city centre firm.

This firm is well known for their Court of Protection work and also for taking exceptionally good care of their staff and clients. Meaningful career development opportunities await the successful Court of Protection solicitor.

BCL Legal is currently working with one of the West Midland's premier firms for private clients. The firm has a long standing reputation in health and welfare work and is currently recruiting for a Court of Protection solicitor with a minimum of four years' post qualification experience to join their team in Birmingham city centre.

The role is to lead Court of Protection health and welfare work in a firm that has a recognised Court of Protection offering. The team provides support to some of the firms' most vulnerable clients and the successful Court of Protection solicitor will have a real passion for and commitment to this area of law.

Ideally, the successful applicant will be able to add to the team by bringing in new work of their own as well as working with some of the firms' long standing clients. You should have experience in providing Mental Capacity Act and deputyship advice as well as preparing cases and representing clients in the Court of Protection health and welfare jurisdiction.
