You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the brand team, ensuring they have a strong brand presence, which clearly represents who they are, what they do and what they stand for to the general public.

You will be responsible for building public support through communication, developing and maintaining the brand strategy and identity, developing and delivering communications campaigns or projects, and providing tools that will allow for more effective communication on key messages to a varied audience.

Main Responsibilities of the role:

-Working with the Head of Strategic Marketing on developing and evolving a strong brand strategy, ensuring that the brand remains consistent, differentiating, contemporary and relevant across everything they do.
-Taking strategic ownership of the brand working with the internal communications team to develop and promote brand guidelines and working with the Creative team to oversee creative direction of the visual identity of the charity.
-Working with teams across Marketing Communications to benchmark and deliver more of an 'always on' brand presence and embed the brand architecture across owned and earned channels to maximise awareness and understanding of there work.
-Project Manage and monitor day-to-day development of communications campaigns or projects, working with external agencies to ensure work is being delivered to brief, on time and within budget.
-Co-ordinate the development and delivery of integrated campaign activity and plans, working with teams internally to maximise cross-functional campaign support, and identifying where internal resources can be used or making a case for external investment as necessary.
-Working with Head of Strategic Marketing to develop and report on performance indicators relating to audience perception and understanding of the brand.

Personal Specification:

-Comprehensive professional knowledge of brand and marketing communications, including specific experience of managing high profile campaigns and brands.
-Experience of managing high profile integrated marketing campaigns in a complex organisation.
-Experience seeking feedback from and communicating to a broad range of internal stakeholders and keeping multiple contributors on track to agreed project milestones.
-Educated to degree level or an equivalent professional qualification gained in a creative/advertising/marketing discipline.
