The Company

Brookfield SDM provides strategic and tactical digital marketing services across the hospitality industry. We work with hotels, health clubs, spas and restaurants throughout the UK and Europe. Clients are managed by a dedicated Account Manager who take day to day responsibility for all digital marketing campaigns/activities. These activities are then delivered by the Digital Marketing Team and we are currently looking for bright sparks to join this successful team.

Job Role

Working with an Digital Manager you will continually develop, support and fulfil the client’s digital marketing objectives. You will also ensure that these campaigns/activities perform against (and exceed) expectations and provide ongoing support as and when required. There will also be a requirement to continuously develop your own digital marketing knowledge in order that Brookfield clients receive an up to date and high-quality service, and ensure new information and/or ideas are integrated into the tactical planning process.

Main Responsibilities

eMail Marketing

  • eMail design and creation
  • eMail campaign management and reporting

SEO

  • Implement and maintain on-site SEO of client websites
  • Carry out extensive keyphrase research, competitor and demand analysis
  • Carry out regular site checks to clients’ sites to review on-page work
  • Develop content such as; articles, blog posts and 'linkbait' style content
  • Link building and partnership identification and development
  • Use of SEO tools and systems including configuration of Google Analytics

PPC

  • Campaign setup and landing page optimisation
  • Campaign monitoring and reporting

Social Media

  • Social media research & planning, implementation and optimisation

Website Management

  • Identifying areas where client websites can improve conversions through analytical analysis and usability principles
  • Maintaining client websites to ensure they are continuously updated and improved

Additional

  • Produce detailed monthly reports on rankings and traffic and summarising work done
  • Responsibility to keep up to date with latest digital marketing trends and techniques

Person Specification

  • Self-motivating, ability to work on own initiative and also be an active member of the team
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and Content Management Systems
  • Some creative flair with an eye for detail
  • Understanding of key SEO and web usability principles
  • Experience of Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Google Tag Manager and SEO Tools
  • Ambitious and keen to develop own expertise in SEO/digital marketing
  • Be organised with the ability to manage your own workload
  • Superb client relationship skills
  • Able to communicate effectively via written media
  • Proactive and positive (happy) attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Flexible, ability to work to tight deadlines (go the extra mile)
  • Strong MS skillset (excel/word etc.)

The ideal candidate will have some working experience relating to the fundamental elements of digital marketing that could include: SEO, Content Development, Social Media, Paid Search and eMail marketing.
