Assistant Buyer Newmarket
An opportunity has arisen to join an industry leading company as an assistant buyer working within the technical department.
The company are looking for a keen and enthusiastic assistant buyer to support the existing team. Ideally someone who has started their career within procurement and is now looking for a new opportunity however, this is not essential if you are ambitious and eager to learn.
Responsibilities will include:
Inputting stock movements onto MRP systems
Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotes and chase lead times
Working closely with internal departments to ascertain priorities
Specific training will be provided however, the successful candidate will need to possess good IT skills, including Excel, have a good attention to detail, ability to organise their own workload and educated to A Level standards.
