Ruby on Rails Developer - London - 30-60k - Benefits & Bonuses

A South-West London based ecommerce company are looking for a RubyOnRails developer to help take their tech stack to the next level. The ideal candidate will be passionate, technical and loves building great products & taking ownership of projects to ensure quality.

They are using the following tech stack "NOT ESSENTIAL": Rails, Docker, PostgreSQL, Heroku, Pusher, Sidekiq, Stripe and JSON API to power the best in its field shopping experience for our customers. Their API`s are used by Android and native iOS customers/Client`s, as well as their Angular built ecommerce website.
They are taking a mobile approach to design & performance as they build their tech-stack to support the ambitious growth plans. Internationalisation, conversational commerce and personalisation are among the many ambitious projects pipelined.

The ideal candidate "NOT ALL IS ESSENTIAL"
- Eager to learn, fast-moving & pragmatic, favouring working & usable MVPs, and using customer feedback to continuously iterate & improve the tech-stack
- 1-3 years of using Ruby on Rails "commercial experience", with experience of TDD with Cucumber or RSpec "OTHER similar tools would be suitable.
- If you have built API`s for single-page app`s that would-be a plus, so is Docker and AWS experience.
- Experience in a fast-growing environment (ideally consumer-facing) start-up as you will be interacting with technical & non-technical team`s
- A Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest tech
- Version control tools: Git, CI tools such as Codeship would be Advantageous.
