This gem of a job has just dropped for a tenacious Business Development Executive to join our well established privately owned clients who are situated on the Surrey/Hants border. With clients in a wide range of sectors from automotive, marine, medical and gaming you will be working closely with the Sales Manager. As a Business Development Executive you will be pro-active in approaching prospective customers and to build and develop business with existing customers.
Key responsibilities for the Business Development Executive include;

  • Meet monthly KPIs regarding calling prospective / existing customers (minimum 10 calls per day)
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities for selling products
  • Follow up phone calls to confirm receipt of information and to outline clearly customer and supplier requirements
  • To build effective relationships with new and existing customers both in the UK and internationally
  • Make decisions on relevance of product and assessing customer budgets
  • Dealing appropriately with inbound queries and to provide responses to confirm the outcome
  • To work together with / and support other team members to improve efficiency and profitability

The ideal Business Development Executive will need;

  • A strong background of engaging customers
  • Excellent communication skills, with a clear telephone manner and clear listening skills
  • Ability to learn basic technical details a huge advantage
  • A positive and professional attitude
  • A team player with the drive to work on your own initiative
  • You will be articulate with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
  • Own transport essential due to the rural location; free on-site parking

Salary up to £23K depending on experience and incentives to be discussed
