Sales & Operations Planning Manager
Do you want to be part of a fast-growing, market-leading business? Do you have experience of S&OP implementation in a manufacturing environment? Have you got exceptional analysis and forecasting skills, combined with first class stakeholder management? If so, apply now!
Our client is a consumer goods business, based in North West London, who are the absolute market-leaders at what they do. They are growing at an incredible rate, and are looking to establish robust and effective Supply Chain processes to take that growth to the next level! They are now looking for a Sales & Operations Planning Manager to implement an S&OP process across their manufacturing sites.
The S&OP Manager will be responsible for Sales & Operations Planning across 5 factories in the UK and Europe. But not just running the process - creating it!
My client need someone who can design S&OP processes from scratch, working closely with all key stakeholders to put in place a sustainable and effective system.
So you would be responsible for collating and validating a rolling sales forecast (challenging Commercial teams where necessary!), translating this back into a material and supply plan, and ensuring the production teams are set up to deliver it.
You would also provide expert analysis and reporting, covering things like forecast variance, out of stocks, inventory spend, production issues etc - identifying root causes and working across the Supply Chain to put in place solutions and process improvements to prevent recurrence.
There is also a new ERP system coming down the line, so any experience of ERP implementation would also be very useful!
The Sales & Operations Planning Manager needs to be someone with:
- Experience implementing an S&OP process
- Extensive forecasting experience
- Knowledge of inventory management
- A strong understanding of manufacturing and production environments
- Exceptional Excel and systems ability
- Strong stakeholder management
Some of the factories are also based in Europe, so knowledge of a major European language - preferably French - would be an advantage!
The role is based at the main manufacturing site in North West London, and will pay between £60k and £70k per year, plus benefits.
