Ambitious North West / Greater Manchester councils seek aspirational and innovative social workers to join their children's social care teams
We are currently working with a variety of ambitious local authorities throughout the North West and across Greater Manchester who are recruiting qualified experienced social workers to lead Children in Need, Child Protection, and Safeguarding teams.
All roles are permanent and full-time, offer management support and development, and pay up to £50,000 per annum.
We are recruiting to vacancies that will manage Child in Need, Child Protection, Safeguarding, Court, Care Proceedings, Contact, and Adoption services.
To be successful you will need to be a qualified social worker, either looking for a first step-up from a Practice Manager / Deputy Team Manager role, an interesting lateral move, or an interim / agency manager seeking a permanent role where there is an opportunity to show what you are capable of and achieve accelerated career progression.
Communication and leadership skills will be examined at interview, as will your experience of developing high-performing teams and productive partner relationships, whilst delivering a high quality service with positive outcomes for children and young people.
