Are you able to predict market trends? Do you have a knack for competitor analysis and research? Due to continued growth this well-known membership organisation is seeking an experienced Product Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with a strong background in product development who is looking for an exciting and engaging work environment.

The role will be a 12 month contract initially, based in Central London, and offering a competitive remuneration package in line with experience, up to £40,000 p.a.

In the position your primary responsibility will be to develop new and existing products that enable this organisation to realise its strategy. You will be required to identify potential products, conduct market research, generate product requirements, and determine specifications in order to bring new products to life.

This would suit an experienced Product Manager who has a strong commercial background, marketing trained and, ideally, with experience of commercial training. Strong Project Management skills will be required to develop products on a cross-functional basis.

Key Responsibilities:

*Determine member needs by undertaking the research required to obtain market information
*Assess viability of new product areas aligned with core content themes
*Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements
*Assess market competition by comparing the current products to competitors
*Provide source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives
*Prepare short and long-term product sales forecasts, and requested reports and analysis
*Introduce and market new products by developing time-integrated plans with marketing and sales
*Determine product pricing by utilising market research data; reviewing production and sales costs and anticipating volume
*Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops

Key Skills:

*Proven background in Product Management
*Strong understanding of the Product Development life-cycle
*Analytic approach toward research and reporting
*Experience of commercial training
*Relevant qualifications/professional training
