Working on behalf of a large North London based secondary school we are recruiting to a HR Manager vacancy.
Your duties will involve developing and implementing workforce strategies, acting as the schools HR specialist and working with the SLT team providing expertise and leadership to staff on HR, school policies and procedures and advising on employment legislation, HR policies, procedures, casework, employment tribunals. You will also manage investigations, disciplinaries and grievance matters.
You will be required to establish and maintain administrative systems and procedures, keep abreast and notify SLT team and staff on HR changes, create recruitment and retention strategies, support SLT team with recruitment and work with the schools external HR advisory service for general personnel and employment matters.
You will also be required to manage a HR Administrator and take the lead on specialist HR projects as directed by the SBM.
This is a full time permanent position paying 40-45k dependent on experience.
It is essential you are CIPD qualified and have worked within a HR position within a school.
