Up to £30,000 £35,000per annum Basic Salary + Company Car + Private Health Care + 25 Days Holiday

Reed Engineering are recruiting for experienced Mechanical Engineers to work as Engineering Surveyors in the West Midlands area.
If you are an experienced engineering surveyor or a strong mechanical engineer with experience of working on steam and pressure equipment who would like to move into a surveying job then this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Job Details

Carrying out high quality inspections ensuring various pressure equipment is compliant with current regulatory and statutory requirements.
You will operate within agreed authorities, inspection and H&S standards with a clear customer focus and drive to achieve optimal service delivery.
You will be working in a busy and varied client facing environment and will be expected to be customer focused and professional at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out planned surveys and inspection
Producing inspection reports.
Maintaining excellent client relationships and offer outstanding customer service.
Fully utilize all operational systems available, ensuring accurate data is inputted and reflected
Maintain an awareness of developments in standards and legislation affecting the Engineer Surveyor’s discipline and support change as required.
Maintain technical standards and participate in Technical Competency Testing and Technical Audits

Your skills and experience

A minimum NVQ3 or H.N.C/H.N.D or equivalent Engineering qualification
Relevant H&S qualification (desirable)
Fit and able to work at heights and in confined spaces
A current U.K. driving license.
Willing to travel if and when required
Proven experience with demonstrable technical knowledge of various equipment including pressure vessels, steam pressure equipment, heat exchangers etc.
Computer literate, with good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to demonstrate and have a clear understanding of Health and Safety
