Your new role as Software Solutions Engineer - Presales
As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a fundamental part in our consultative sales cycles and ultimately driving wins across the business. In this role you will focus on aligning innovative digital marketing strategies to technology solutions within key strategic accounts. This role focuses on partnering with clients and collaborating with internal team members and C-level client contacts to drive consensus on multi-product technology solutions across the various product lines. You will leverage experience in technical software implementations to enable a logical and seamless approach for prospective customers to on-board their its solutions.
The Solution Engineer role is a dynamic, evolving position where expertise in design, business consulting and technology is leveraged every day. You will work on a wide array of assignments including business development, operations and IT strategies, as well as executive level product demonstrations. You must assume the role of trusted advisor for driving innovative solutions forward while also improving business performance. This role requires an autonomous self-starter with outstanding interpersonal capabilities coupled with highly-effective time management skills.
What you'll need to succeed Software Solutions Engineer - Presales
- A 'Hunter' mentality, and the drive to acquire new business
- Holding a tertiary level education is compulsory. BSc. Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience as a senior sales engineer is an advantage.
- Pre-sales consulting experience with experience focused exclusively on the digital space
- The gravitas to network and build relationships at C-level
- Excellent sales, presentation, negotiation and communication skills
