We currently require a Functions Catering Sales Co-ordinator reporting to the Food &Beverage Manager at this Private Members Club in Knightsbridge.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Manage the administration, coordination and hand over of all event for both members and external clients.

  • Handle all incoming enquiries, confirm sales and charge deposits efficiently.

  • Arrange meetings with the customers regarding their event requirements and liaising with them in the lead up to the event.

  • Aiding the client in their selection of catering for each event, working with the client to ensure we can accommodate their requirements within their budget.

  • Compose, publish and distribute Banquet event order / Banquet Function Plan to all department heads with most recent updates.

  • Chase clients to confirm final details within set deadlines.

  • Attend weekly meetings with the catering department to discuss and hand over upcoming events.

  • To be conscious of the financial monthly and quarterly targets for the Functions department. Review the confirmed and forecast sales, produce an analytical report on these figures and present them in a bi-weekly meeting.

    The hours of work are 8.30 am to 5.00 pm 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

PREREQUISITES:

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, demonstrate they are highly efficient and have excellent organisational and communications skills and possess a good team spirit.

Should have a passion for providing the highest standards of service to the guests. Helpful and approachable to the guest and having the ability to promote catering and events facilities and maximize sales opportunities at all times.

Experience from hotel/restaurant environment will be an advantage.
