My client is looking for a bright and enthusiastic CRM Analyst to join their exciting and expanding business.
With an industry leading loyalty card, over 80 stores across the UK and US and rapidly expanding direct business, they have a wealth of customer data that we need your help to analyse and generate actionable insight.
You will have experience of analysing large customer and transactional datasets using data mining and analytics tools such as BlueVenn, R, Alterian, Faststats or similar, an appreciation of SQL environments, and be an expert on Excel.
Reporting to the Insight & Analytics Manager, you will work very closely with the CRM, IT and eCommerce teams, but will also have exposure to the wider business including Stores, Merchandising teams and external suppliers.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

* Understand our data landscape, including Navision, our loyalty platform, website and the Data Warehouse (SQL).
* Ensure timely delivery of regular and ad-hoc customer insight reporting.
* Assist the CRM team in analysing success and ROI of promotional activity.
* Help to monitor customer data quality and ensure any issues are appropriately resolved or escalated.
* Main point of contact for the US team, working closely with stakeholders to ensure that best-practices are maintained.
* Provide other data and analysis where required.

Required Skills and Experience
* Strong IT and analytical software skills, with high level Excel. Familiarity with R and SQL a plus.
* Experience of BlueVenn (previously smartFOCUS), Alterian, Tableau, SPSS or similar is desired but a general ability to pick up working with technical environments is essential.
* Experience of working with marketing or retail data and a general understanding of core industry KPIs.
* At least 2 years' experience of working with customer databases within a data intensive organisation.
* Education to degree level in relevant area preferred.
* You will have good problem-solving abilities.
* You must be able to make sense of a complex IT environment, interpret data and communicate findings concisely to a variety of audiences.
* The ability to focus on the detail, but also grasp the bigger picture is essential.
* You should have the confidence to push your own ideas and challenge current ways of working.
* High level of numeracy and attention to detail.
