A new exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Based Investigator to join my clients growing organistation.

Job Purpose:
Manage a portfolio of investigation cases from various instructing Principals.

Location:
Candidates should be based ideally south of M25 e.g. around Guildford, Farnborough, Brighton as you would be covering area from Guilford across London and South East Coast

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Undertake a range of investigations in an ethical & professional manner, employing best practice & key investigative competencies, which comprise:
? Technical Knowledge
? Investigative Planning & Preparation
? Interviewing & Statement Taking
? Evidence Identification, Gathering, Analysis & Presentation
? Reporting & Correspondence Proficiency

• When appropriate, case manage or direct investigations utilising the investigative tool options available.
• Investigate and validate claims within the agreed structured process of DSI, working in tandem, where appropriate with the appointed adjuster. Ensure hand-off and hand-backs between DSI and other parts of the group are conducted professionally, seamlessly and within a reasonable timeframe.
• Support & assist in the development of investigation support staff (e.g. Assistant Investigators, Conversation Management Handlers)
• Adhere to client specific service standards and ensure investigations are conducted within the Company’s guidelines, procedures & protocols.
• Establish and maintain contacts with other external investigative bodies and agencies, as approved by DSI management.
• Generate optimal revenue for the company by ensuring true & accurate time recording and strict adherence to fee rates.
• Be accountable for achieving Key Performance Indicators, as determined by DSI management.
• To ensure own technical and professional development progress is in accordance with agreed Personal Development Plans (PDP).
• To ensure the CII rules regarding insurance qualifications and CPD (within the new FCA regulatory regime) are adhered to.
• Promote & maintain the profile of DSI within the Company and throughout the market place generally.
• Perform any other appropriate duties, as & when reasonably requested by DSI Management.

Investigative Experience in Loss Adjusting or Insurance Company Experience in handling and investigating commercial property (desirable experience) and domestic (essential experience) property; split 20% commercial property/ 80% domestic property
