Conference and Event Organiser
Our client is looking for Conference and Event Organiser to join a publishing company based in Horsham.
As a Conference and Event Organiser you will organise five two-day conferences per year. Three of these are held internationally.
The main tasks related to the role, which are shared between the two conference organisers, are as follows:
-Administration of all conference delegate registrations
-Maintaining all communication with delegates
-Issuing invoices to delegates and taking credit card payments
-Liasing with catering arrangements, audio visual and other hardware and equipment requirements
-Reviewing contracts with hotels and other service providers
-Monitoring payments to the hotel venue & other suppliers
-Sending each exhibitor and conference speaker, updates leading up to conferences
-Collecting speaker presentations prior to the conference to ensure all presentations are ready and prepared, and working closely with the audio visual team to ensure they are loaded on the presentation computer on the day of the conference in sufficient time
-Updating the mobile application. This includes uploading agenda, speaker, exhibitor information, and checking all pages are opening and functioning properly
