CSG245 - Project Finance Administrator - Peterborough

Up to £25,000 DOE plus benefits package

The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Finance Administrator to join our Corporate Finance (Controlling) team based in our Peterborough office. You will be responsible for assisting the Project Managers with the financial Administration of their projects. Controlling is responsible for the processing of time and its associated costs, budgeting, forecasting and producing the Business Line Management Results. You will be part of a team of Project Finance Administrators in the UK and Holland whose combined efforts will reduce the company risk and ensure quality support for our internal clients.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Producing and sending out sales invoices.

  • Regularly meet with Project Managers to discuss forecasts and project progress.

  • Monitor the financial progress of the projects you are responsible for administering.

  • Being aware of and monitoring project risks.

  • Awareness of and proactive approach towards the current Debtor position and Credit Limits.

  • Extracting ad hoc information from ABW and presenting it clearly for non-financials.

  • Month End Reports from ABW.

  • Identify and exploit project performance improvement opportunities.

  • To be a business "sparring" partner for project leaders in all stages of a project.

  • To continually deliver analysis of and advice on the Advisory Group /Business Unit results, both invited and uninvited.

  • To cultivate effective relationships with all relevant business customers (project leaders, Advisory Group Director’s and Business Unit Director’s and other stakeholders).

Essential qualifications, skills and experience

Essential:

  • Experience of working with a finance team

  • AAT or equivalent qualification (or working towards)

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Desirable:

  • Experience as a Project Finance Administrator

  • Experience of working within an Engineering environment
