A global franchise is searching for a Product Marketing Manager to join the team. The main priority of the role is manage a portfolio of products tailored to the PR and Advertising industries, and therefore knowledge of this industries is preferred.

What you will be doing:

*Global management of all products for the PR & Advertising industries, with responsibility for the business products definition and product planning, throughout the product line lifecycle.

*Working with the Business Unit leader to define global product plans on an annual basis.

*Management, creation and delivery of all global marketing and promotional materials for the sectors.

*Key liaison with regional sales and marketing teams, ensuring that product plans are understood in each market, and that materials to sell and market the product are disseminated for localisation.

*Constantly seeking to optimise products throughout their lifecycles, with consideration of changes to the marketing mix in order to enhance the value of individual products to the company.

*Key funnel for new ideas, whether they be from HQ or regional offices, working with the Finance teams and Business Unit leader to shape the base idea into a marketable product.

*Staying abreast of market trends, in order to ensure that the product line is current and relevant to the marketplace. This could be through own market research, as well as steering and guiding specific market research to be undertaken by regional marketers.

*Understanding of Product P&Ls

Experience & Skills sought:

*Account management experience from a creative agency or product marketing experience with exposure ideally to PR or Advertising

*Ability to work cross-functionally; strong communicator, excellent at building and maintaining relationships, both internal and external.

*Ability to understand and interpret sales, financial and market data

*Good copywriting skills desirable

*This role requires a strong character who can draw on consumer and market data to put forward recommendations for new product, product changes, pricing changes, etc. to help steer and shape decision-making. Presentation of these recommendations will often be to more experienced industry professionals and salespeople.
